Welcome to Tooele County
Department of Human Services
Mental health is a key part of your overall health. Brief screenings are the quickest way to determine if you or someone you care about should connect with a mental health professional. Screenings are a checkup from your neck up.
Department of Human Services
As such, plans are made that include service delivery to children, youth and adults. Elderly citizens are served by the Division of Aging and Adult Services and the County is fortunate to have: a youth Services Center, a food pantry, a thrift store, a domestic violence shelter, and support case management as well as supportive housing for the homeless. Additional contracted services are provided for adult legal services as well as boys and girls club activities. A robust substance use prevention program is aimed at preventing or reducing the use of drugs and alcohol.
A diverse array of inpatient, outpatient and residential services are offered for those qualifying for behavioral health services through our managed care organization, OPTUM — TOOELE COUNTY.
